"It was as if taking a step back in time. Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever. "Lovely hotel. My room was large and had a view of the mountains. The onsen is small but has a nice outdoor pool which was delightful in the rain. Staff don't speak a lot of English but used translators to help. The restaurant is very nice with attention to every detail. I would stay here again."

"Overall the property was good, especially for the price. The only downside was the parking was supposed to be free but I was told the garage was full and that i couldnt park there. However, i saw several open spots, but they still did not let me park there. Instead i had to pay for parking that the hotel would not reimburse. Other than the false information about free parking the hotel was what we expected."
