"Excellent beach for a morning (or afternoon, or evening) ocean swims with plenty of seating options for hotel guests. Towel service was very handy, bikes convenient for short jaunts into Kapa’a, lawn games fun for the family, and poolside amenities very tidy. We loved the 70’s vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Everything was very clean and well organized and evening phosphorescence a huge bonus. Was also a great location for visiting the south or north shore without taking up too much driving time....

"In need of a remodel at the rate they are charging. If it were under $200 it would be as expected but I paid about $380/night. Maui is just crazy expensive. Rooms are dated but staff were very friendly. We couldn’t get our balcony door opened but maintenance fixed it by the time we came back from eating nearby. Pools were nice and band that played Monday night were fantastic. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well and they also had a ceiling fan. "

"We stayed at this property 10 years ago and it was fantastic, since then service and the hotel has significantly gone down in quality. Example- there is no maid service at all durong your stay. The service was quite rude as well, ny husband rented a car and when he was picking me and my daughter up at the hotel, he was hounded about whether he is staying at the hotel. We were literally standing there. Therewere also protests early in the morning thay woke us all up. Pool was closed on certain...
