"Very old hotel , so not in pristine condition, but if it were it would lose its character. It’s the oldest hotel in Brighton. Very clean and the staff were lovely, particularly the young lady in the restaurant this morning (15/5). Will definitely be returning "

"If you’re looking for an LGBTQ+ stay in Brighton then Legends is a great place. Right on the sea front and only a 5-10 min walk to most the attractions and good restaurants. The room (we had a king size) was great, light and airy and cleaned daily. Breakfast was worth the £10pp The acts in the evening was a great addition Be aware though that at a weekend the noise from the bar and downstairs club can be heard in the rooms, they do provide ear plugs for you in the room but if you are noise...

"I only went for a city room. This is a windowless room, but as I was only sleeping in it for the night, that's fine with me. Great value for money, and the hotel has many facilities. Decorated for Christmas. Bar was shut when we arrived back at 11pm. Position on the front is perfect for the pier and bandstand and only a short walk into town centre"

"If you book the family room, be aware that there is a step right after you walk in. My elderly mother fell twice, hitting the bed as she landed on the floor. Aside from this, the breakfast is excellent and the location is great. "
