"The Raratongan Resort was amazing! The snorkeling was some of the best anywhere-hundreds of fish (including so many nurseries with babies), lots of coral, many, many eels, and turtles; the beach was beautiful; the staff and activities were terrific; the room was wonderful; and the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had anywhere! What a paradise!"

"Great place to stay if you prefer self contained room style accommodation. There are no dining facilities here but there are a few options nearby within walking distance including the food night markets right next door, a cafe for morning coffees across the road, the sailing club restaurant 30 meters down the beach (ate here a couple of times, it’s pretty good), a convenience store and takeaways also 20-30 meters away. "Palm Grove was good for what it is, but can tell the garden rooms dont get as much love as the beach villas. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is convenient but its not luxury if thats what you're after"
