"This is a really charming bed and breakfast. It is in a secure area and behind a locked gate. They have many amenities that I did not make use of such as a a pool and hot tub. The breakfast was excellent. My room had a very small private terrace with seats for two. There was also a larger terrace off the dining room should you be there with a group. Everything was clean and well maintained."

"The property is a bit tired. The staff was very accommodating. I was a bit mislead by the number of facilities on the website. For instance there is only on restaurant not several. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was minimal and the swimming pool was huge but dirty. Also not many chairs by the pool and it is not on the property but adjacent to it (300 yards). That being said, the staff made up for all the shortcomings of the property. "

"I'm not sure why this hotel is rated so highly. I would call it just so-so. The rooms are in bad need of updating, and it took forever for the heater to warm the room. Perhaps it's the best thing in San Fernando? I was hoping that since the property had a conference center the staff would speak English, however that was not the case. "Ah-mazing! The innkeepers were so accommodating & hands on. Their personal touch made our stay extra special. We could not get over the farm fresh eggs (from the property) in the morning. They were seriously the best scrambled eggs I've ever had in my life. They were readily available for restaurant suggestions, which vineyards to check out, ice, wine glasses, whatever we needed to make our stay more comfortable.
