"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. "We had a room in the hostel part of this hotel. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The bathrooms and kitchen area were state of the art, and the lounge area was spectacular. This hotel includes a nice bar, restaurant, and event area. It is in a beautiful and central location in town, and the owners are delightful. We hope to go back some day."
