"Antigua Village was (I think) the first resort to be built on the island - and theres a good reason why they chose Dickenson Bay. Wonderful sandy beach - now somewhat dominated by the huge Sandals neighboring resort. We did go 19 years ago - before Sandals and it was great. "We loved our stay at Keyonna beach, solid 4.5/5 stars. The staff was wonderful and the setting was perfect and relaxing. My biggest piece of advice is to bring cash, we were not the only ones going into the harbor town to hit the ATM and the driver said it was really common. All the taxis, water taxis, etc only function on cash, even the hotel shuttles. For the bugs we didn't have much of an issue if we sprayed bug spray, no mosquitoes just sandflys got us. We didn't have a rooster issue but...
