"The hotel is in a good location. They sent us the the post code for the nearest car park. Which was great. The room was spacious with high ceilings. We had a meal in the bar / restaurant which was very nice. A nice stay."

"So, the place itself is lovely, food is very good and the service is brill. Room was lovely however, there was a very strong smell of sewerage from the bathroom, there was definitely a build up somewhere which we did report on check out. This was Room 17 and in the corridor you could smell it a little. They said they would speak to maintenance and sort it. But overall, a lovely little valentines trip with the other half. Would defo return. "

"Lovely place, comfortable clean room and good breakfast. I didn’t eat in the restaurant / bar in the evening but it was packed and the food looked really good. I was welcomed at reception by a friendly helpful receptionist and the lady serving breakfast was also friendly and helpful. In all it was a really good experience and I will be returning. "

"The staff members were so amazingly helpful and friendly. As a solo traveler with a cane I struggle with stairs and excessive walking but the staff helped me to my room when I arrived and Katen even helped we all the way to the train platform across the way when I left. While this location is remote the charm and guality mke it a beautiful destination stay and the food was to die for. I had one minor issue in my room and they resolved it while I was out so 5/5"
