"I think the property needs some up keep. Example in my bathroom there’s paint literally peeling from the ceiling. There’s some paint also peeling from some panels in the bedroom area. Otherwise the front desk has been wonderful and accommodating."

"Hotel needs an update. Room was a little worn, but not terrible. Pillows while plentiful were 1/2 size of regular pillows & that was very uncomfortable. Had a reservation date mix up - they were awesome in changing without charging, but it was $25 more from a Friday to Saturday. for the same room."

"The front desk lady Kira was amazing during the whole stay . The breakfast lady I didn’t catch her name but was amazing. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and I received a text soon as I arrived to let them know if I needed anything.. great trip"

"There for an evening for travel in the area. Staff was friendly and provided great recommendations for local food/dinner options. Room looked like it needed to be swept a little in hard to reach spots but otherwise very clean, modern, quiet,and new. Will return and highly recommend."

"I came here with my boyfriend and my toddler daughter. We are from the area but needed a little getaway. Jordan checked us in and he was absolutely delightful and professional! Seriously…give him a raise. I see a lot of positive reviews mentioning him. We got the king suite and it was a great room. I absolutely loved how big the bathroom was and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean. I decided to come to this hotel instead of the several there are in Merrillville because not only is the Merrillville area not the safest but I’ve stayed in a lot of those hotels, and a lot of them tend to smell like cigarettes or weed. This place did not smell at all. My toddler absolutely loved the pool and it was pretty warm. The breakfast was pretty good and I love that housekeeping wasn’t knocking on our door in the morning! We stayed until 12 which is check out time and not one employee bothered us. We will definitely be back!!! Only complaint I have is the pillows were not the best. They were very…flat. I would recommend bringing your own pillow. Still though, we very much enjoyed our stay. "
