"Absolutely perfect! We wanted a family peaceful getaway and we were beyond impressed. The deluxe cabin was so cute with the ladder to the second floor for the kids. The view was beautiful as well. We had a fire pit right outside. Just a few blocks away is the cutest vintage shopping area, must see the 8th Street Market, especially around the holidays."

We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! "The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...

"This is the most spectacular getaway place ever! The cottage ( Moonlight specifically) is perfect for a couple.
