"Location, location, location! Loved being able to access all that midtown has to offer. Was disappointed to have a room right next to the elevator due to noise from housekeeping and guests. We ended up calling the front desk one night because of slamming doors on the floor above us."

"Overall the stay was great, however the property felt a little run down since the last time I stayed there. Our room was clean and more spacious than I expected, but could also use some updates. The lounge provided a nice vibe and area to eat and meet for drinks, however Friday and Saturday night got very loud. "The hotel is very modern and had great views of New York City. It was a bit away from the main attractions but that was a good thing as it was much quieter and peaceful. Access to the subway is close enough too. Our only concern was the tourist taxes weren’t easily explained and our final bill was eye watering with extra taxes added for going up on the roof terrace. Check possible costs first before going up there so you are prepared and not shocked like we were. "

"It was NYC so we expected it to be expensive and cramped, which it was. The room was meh. Not great, not bad. The bed was too soft for our liking, but we like firm mattresses. We spent three nights and slept pretty well. The best parts were the location and roof-top bar. It is rated as one of the best roof-top bars in New York, and we saw why -- great views of Empire State and more. We would go back, but we wouldn't rush back."

"The room was a nice size. The hotel is very conveniently located for Penn station and subway stations. Some places are walkable. The room had not been cleaned when we arrived but they fixed that soon after. Everything was fine."

"The room was clean. We had issues with the heating unit and the handle on the shower but maintenance was quick and efficient. The elevators are small and slow but everything else was good. Great location A little noisy from times square but that is to be expected. Would definitely stay again"
