"Pros: 1 bdrm apartment. Full size kitchen (fridge, sink, dishwasher, oven and range). Separate living room and bedroom. Balcony overlooking the pool. Though nothing was around within walking distance (except for Benihana), the property is close to several places in the San Diego area of you’re driving/Ubering. Cons: Paid parking. "We stayed in a king suite and I was so impressed with the size of it for the price. The staff was so friendly and they made our honeymoon experience with them so sweet. I really appreciated that the vallet service was so reasonably priced. We stayed in 3 different hotels while in Cali and this one was our favorite. "

"Can't say enough about the absolutely fantastic staff at this location. From the moment that we checked in with Jennifer and we told her that we were celebrating my sister's birthday, we were treated like VIPs. The front desk staff all personalized a birthday card for her and gave her gifts. Any time we had a question about the location of something, someone offered to show us. I've never met such friendly and accommodating staff. Kudos to all who work here. As for the room, it was spacious and very comfortable. The only thing I wished it had was a fan in the bathroom lol Other than that, it was very clean and the beds were super comfy. We would definitely stay here again! The area around the property (not their fault) is not the best. However, they do have a sign where they recommend that you wait for Ubers/taxis/etc. inside the building. There's just a lot of homeless people in Downtown San Diego. Overall, this was one of the best hotel stays that we ever had. Fantastic front desk staff!"
