"The staff were really friendly and helpful when they let us in and gave us our room key. However; the aircon was not working and the room was very unclean and swarming with bugs. I know the hotel is cheap but I’d rather pay a little bit more and be somewhere clean and with working aircon. Pro to the experience was the nice man who let us in though :) "

"It os a nice place with an authentic north African interior decore in the old part of city, Medina. Cars can not reach the hotel door and you need to walk about 5 min to get a taxi. In the area tgere are not many option fir dining, specially in the evening. Only one of staff speaks English, so communication can be difficult at times if you do not speakFrenchor Arabic. "

"The location was easy to navigate in the Medina. The staff offered to come and meet us to bring us in when a taxi dropped us outside the Medina. The staff was friendly and welcoming offering us a snack when we came in. "

"This stunning hotel checked all the boxes for us. We only stayed one night, and we wished we would have been able to spend more time here. The spa was heavenly. We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. It felt luxurious and modern, but is in a historic remodeled location in the medina. It is truly stunningly beautiful. "We Loved this spot. We travel all over the world; this was right up there with the best. GREAT location in the medina, fabulous rooms that are nicer and bigger than most - Huge bathtub, great service, great breakfast. They also organized a rental car for us - we really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it. And THEN - we ate at their restaurant down the street - and it was one of the best in the world. We are happy!"

"The hotel was very unique, the staff was very accommodating and it was in the Medina where there is lots of shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel. the hotel has a limited amount of rooms. there is no elevator but the staff delivers your luggage to your room. there is a lovely view of the city on the rooftop."

"Great quality hotel, high end for Tunis. Very pleasant staff as I spoke only English, not Arabic or French. Had no problems conversing with front desk, room service or breakfast staff. The hotel was very safe as it sits on a hill looking down on the Tunisian Dept. of State and multiple embassies. I suspect it is used by diplomats as the security around the property was of high quality. The restaurants are very good. The breakfast buffet was extensive. I ordered room service one night with a nice bottle of Tunisian wine. There’s also an English pub where you can get a beer and there wias always be a Premier League game on the TV. The smallest of negatives is that it is a bit isolated but unless you stay right downtown you need to use the Bolt app to get taxis no matter where you are in Tunis. It was only about 15 minutes to the airport or 20 minutes to Sidi Bou Said, which I would recommend as a side trip for lunch or dinner. If you are a business traveler or want to escape the hustle and bustle of downtown, I would definitely recommend it."
