"I loved everything about this hotel. The atmosphere and unique collectibles in the breakfast room were fascinating to look at. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The host was so warm and friendly and made us feel like we were at home. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection to choose from. I can't wait to come back again."

"This is an 18th century house converted into a quaint inn. Very nice. Easy walk to the ruins. Pleasant staff. The restuarant was pricey and pretentious for supper. (We did the multi-course meal, but later wished we just ordered somethings that were less exotic.) Sit down breakfast in the old wine celler was great."

"This property is in an awkward area that is not bad but not "pretty". The air conditioning hardly cooled the room and was an older unit. Definitely should be updated. All this being said, the staff was AMAZING, the breakfast was FABULOUS, the amenities were better than 4 star hotels that I have stayed in and everything was super clean. Would definitely recommend if not during summer and one has a car to get to the prettier areas."

"The loveliest terrace view! And the cafe/restaurant was so good! And the service was so friendly and personal. Loved it. My only complaint is the train station is too far away to walk, so I had to take a $25 cab ride each way to get from the train to the hotel and back. "

"We were initially super excited to come to this hotel after seeing pics and it’s high ratings but when we arrived we noticed immediately that we were a burden. The staff was not as friendly as the other hotels and even though we were the only ones there (slow tourist season) every time I asked for something I was made to feel like I was bothering them despite the fact that I speak and am Italian. "A pretty amazing place. Looks very luxurious, the restaurant and the meal was super fancy and yet very reasonably priced. We couldn’t understand why the place was mostly empty, but we stayed mid-week, and the place clearly caters to Italians (even the spa menu was only in Italian). The air-conditioning in the room was not very strong and very noisy, but otherwise very nice room. "
