"We arrived before check in and the hotel offered to hold our luggage for us so we could explore Chitose without something rolling behind us. Then when we checked in, the staff put our luggage in our room! What a surprise and such a kind thought. Breakfast offered a lot of local favorites with a variety of choices. "We got there after 5:30 which was a bad idea. In winter it was already pitch black and the walk from the bus stop to the hotel is uphill and very challenging with luggage. I don’t even know how we did it! Hotel itself is pretty good. Breakfast and dinner provided, bathrobes provided and you can wear to dinner, onsen open 24 hours. No view in the room but you’re close to the gorgeous lake. Small eats around town are amazing, cream puff, pork bowl 豚井, potato mochi... Be ware of the black crows;...
