「We had a wonderful stay at Pale Hall. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The food was delicious. We would definitely return for another stay.」

「We booked through hotels.com, but we booked a triple room, as it was cheapest option for a couple and a 20 year old daughter. On check in, there was not a triple room, rather than cancel us, they gave us 2 twins, much to the delight of all of us. Very friendly. Thank you」

「Pretty straight forward needed a night to stay since I was working on the weekend and the room was reasonably priced, staff is friendly, room was cleaned enough and it was comfortable enough that’s all I need so it’s worth going if you don’t fancy forking over a fortune to over places, got a pub downstairs and breakfast in the morning but couldn’t attend to those things as I drive and wake up earlier hours but overall judging the place it seemed pretty decent and I can’t complain.」

「Beautiful setting. Woke up to the cows mooing. Decor dated and pleasant. Many cobwebs in the room, light shade and ceiling and walls. Warm, cosy and TV available. Tea and coffee in the room. A biscuit or 2 may have been a nice welcome after a long day. Value for money. Pleasant and friendly staff. 」

「Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...
