"I initially booked a two-night stay at The Westin Xian but ended up leaving early and I’m glad I did. While the hotel has potential, it feels dated and poorly maintained. We reserved a large one-bedroom suite but were given a lower-floor room that required a long walk to reach. Since we were traveling with my elderly father-in-law, we requested a wheelchair, expecting a hotel of this caliber to have a good one. Unfortunately, the wheelchair was broken. Although they replaced it, the second one...

"A nice hotel with serene surrounding. The trade-off is a short walk to the nearest metro station. Got upsell to a jr suite upon checkin but it is a good deal with the extras in the package. Good service from the staff too. Overall a hassle free experience."

"Since we were traveling with our baby, we couldn’t climb Taishan. So we wanted a nice view of the beautiful mountain during the trip, and the hotel room had what we wanted. Breakfast was below our standard—both western and Chinese didn’t meet five star level, I think. Many praised its proximity to Wanda plaza and we made it there, too. But remind that hotel is not directly connected to the shopping mall and you still need to walk outside for 4-5 min."
