"Wonderful and relaxing stay. Wonderful bar, artwork/museum and restaurant area. Layed back atmosphere was just what we needed. Did not use the pool area but wasn't busy, just a few couples using it. Huge shower is one of my favorites about this hotel."

"We stayed here because we went to some spring training games. The hotel was quiet and well maintained. It was more of a business hotel but not entirely. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The restaurants in the area were great and we enjoyed all of them. The convenience of everything made it really enjoyable since we could walk there. It looks like they did a lot of updates but the bathrooms could use some as well. The room was not as big as we were use to but it was only two of us so it was ok. "

"The hotel has a stylish lobby with a really cool marble fireplace on the second floor, a nice spot to hang out, and that exits onto a pedestrian walking area. Conveniently, a Frye’s grocery is across the street. There are numerous restaurants just steps away. Chico Malo was wonderful upscale Mexican food, beautiful and delicious. The fourth floor has a lovely pool and a cool rooftop bar. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. It worked out well for attending a convention, only 3 blocks to get there. There is morning coffee on the 2nd floor and throughout the day there was ice water infused with strawberries. My only negative I can think of is that our room’s furnishings, while stylish, were getting worn, the upholstery was peeling off the chairs, but maybe that was just this room. I would stay again. "

"My reviews are based not in comparison to the best hotels I’ve stayed at but what I expected to come into. All travel sites put it as a 2-3 star hotel so thats what I expected. Some pictures put it as a previous Rodeway Inn so there’s also that. I’ve stayed at other Roadway Inn’s before so and they have served it’s purpose. Yes there are upgrades that could be made but you could see they were trying since there was new flooring. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were good, and the room got cold….all I could ask for. Location was great…walking distance to the downtown area for a lot of restaurants/bars and Starbucks. Best surprise was it was across the street from Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken. I happened to see the door and neon sign walking back from Starbucks…IYKYK. Only let down but not a deal breaker, was there was an ice machine but it didn’t work. The room had a small fridge and microwave so all my needs were met. The neighboring hotel looks like it’s been remodeled from a cheaper chain (picture might have shown Sure Stay), but my room was actually bigger than my friend’s room who stayed at that one. Overall it was a last minute trip to catch a Dodgers/Cubs game during Spring Training, visit Sedona and get some DTPHX action, so the price was right and I had a great trip. Would I stay there again…hell yes! "

"It was very clean, and was a beautiful room with fresh paint. The towels smelled nice, I had no issues at all. The noise was quiet as well, it surprised me since I assumed it would be noisy being on a main road but it was not. I recommend this place to anyone."
