"Friendly, helpful staff and loved the location"

"The 2 women at the front desk went over and above to allow us to check in early. They were very polite and professional. They greeted us when we arrived and always had a smile for us when we ran across them. I witnessed them tidying up public areas of the motel several times. They kept the lobby, the food area, the pool area and the public bathrooms clean, pitching in and helping where needed. One of the ladies names is Sarah but I cannot remember the other lady's name. It may be Lennie? They should be commended for their hard work but also for projecting such a positive impression of LaQuinta Inns. Great employees!"

"Hotel Fort Des Moines is a classic hotel that has been upgraded very tastefully. The staff is outstanding and the location is within walking distance of most of Des Moines’ best summer events. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again soon. "

"The room and the bathroom were immaculate and newly renovated. Staff at the desk are super friendly. The restaurant was good, and you need a restaurant, because it isn't really near any fast food places. This being off season for Iowa State sports, I got a great rate for a very good room and experience."

"We really enjoyed our time at your hotel. The hotel was in great condition except for the hot tub being under repair but having owned a hot tub we understand the upkeep it takes to keep them in good condition. Everyone on the site were very friendly and helpful when asked a question. Will definitely stay here again our next trip. "
