Independent Center Harbor hotels

"View wise it's a fantastic location. Unfortunately the road it's on is super busy and crossing to get to lake feels dangerous. They are clearly in the middle of renovations, we had a newer room, brand new paint and carpets and bluetooth built in to bathroom mirror which was super cool. However, no safety bars in bathroom, nor a shelf in bathroom and floors are super slippery when wet, and no dresser or places to put or hang clothes so I hope they are still a work in progress. "The room was clean. Not a lot of room but good for a two night stay. The most important thing I can tell you is make sure you right the directions down. While the hotel had excellent service the town did not. Very frustratting, especially at night. Our friends had to find us and take ys to the motel. They have a limited breakfast availability, but little a DD not to far away."

"We stayed for one night after attending an event at the Barn on the Pemi and having dinner at the Italian Farmhouse. After checking in, we socialized in the lounge with friends and family. The craft cocktails were very good, and I recommend the espresso martinis. Service was great and all staff with whom we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
