I had high hopes because of the positive reviews. I made arrangements thru expedia chat that we will be 2 guests instead of 1. When i arrived, i was told there would be an additional 100,000 COP per night charge for the 2nd guest. Although already ridiculous and overpriced, i accepted because i was exhausted from a 3 hour immigration line wait at the airport. A few minutes later the dude at the desk apologizes and says, that was last year's extra guest rate. This year it's 190,000 COP. This sounded insane seeing as we are already 2 full months into 2025. I refused to accept the 190,000, so the dude said, ok, i will keep it at 100,000. He said i could pay the surcharge at the end of my stay. My guest was arriving later in the night so i went to pick her up at the airport (which is an incredibly easy walk away). Upon re-entering the hotel, a different desk dude stopped me and said i needed to settle the 500,000 extra guest fee right away. I told him that the guy before said it was ok to pay at the end. He said that he had instructions to collect right away. I didn't appreciate the approach but i figured, whatever, and paid. Unfortunately, my guest had to cut her stay 2 nights short due to a family emergency back home. I requested a refund of the 200,000 and they refused. The front desk team could not be more TERRIBLE. All they seemed to be after was a quick buck. They absolutely ruined my stay and my impression of the hotel. All the other staff was great.
