「What a super hotel. Never stayed in an octagonal room before but it gave the feeling of space. Nicely furnished throughout with plenty of nods to Darwin. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb, both for selection of options and friendliness of staff. I haven't had better anywhere (including in a lot of foreign travel!). One small and insignificant point: Our bed/room was adorned with 6 pillows and 10 cushions of varying sizes. Possibly excessive!」

Enjoyed the food and drink menus (breakfast and lunch) the team were really friendly and helpful, service was good even though they were experiencing some technical problems during our stay. 「Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay. However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station. Entry to the hotel is via an app you have to download, but it worked well...
