A couple miles North on Pacific Coast Highway in Encinitas has some wonderful restaurants, shops and nightlife. I enjoyed biking there. Moonlight Beach is also. The BEST ice cream is at Handels Ice Cream. Try S’mores or Key Like Pie flavor.
