The kitchen was very well stocked with very useable utensils. The elevator was broken so it meant 5 sets of stairs up and down to get to pool and parking lot and carrying luggage up and down. The pool was clean and warm, but got very busy and very loud when the little kids was playing and screaming. Beds and showers all very comfy and clean. Enjoyable and memorable.

It's a very nice property. When I booked, the website said there would be housekeeping upon request, but when we checked in, we were told no housekeeping would bw available during our 3 night stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the suite is quite a bit more spacious than many other comparable properties in the area. The parking garage is easy to maneuver a large SUV, unlike most Canmore hotels. We like to walk in Canmore and this property isn't as close to Main Street as we would like. For that reason, we probably won't stay there again.

Check In wasn't pleasant, "caught a employee at the end of their shift they made that known" She was rude, unwelcoming and not at all helpful. However room was very nice, but the elevator was not in service which was a major hassle with young kids. Minus the rude front check in lady and no elevator working this is a really nice hotel.

The Aurora building has no working elevators! I would have canceled our reservation if I had read the fine print. If you have lots of luggage, groceries, ski equipment etc because do not overlook this detail! Our room was good, we had a two bedroom unit with the kitchen. A couple things didn’t work like the blinds in the main living room. We were missing a remote to turn on a fireplace in the main living room and one of the bathroom doors got jammed and stuck, and we couldn’t use it. However, besides that the room was well-maintained and in good shape. The common areas of the resort were not as nicely maintained. The Parkade is very dirty and dusty, the halls need a fresh coat of paint. They’re very dirty and marked up. The pool area is not great, we went once and didn’t feel the need to go back again.

We liked the location and parking. Our unit was nice but we did not like that we were on the third floor with no prior notice that the elevator in our booked building did not work. We travelled with people with health conditions and were forced to carry all luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Water in unit was lukewarm in kitchen taps and bathrooms which was not appreciated.

It was unfortunate that the hotel was under construction. Normally not a big deal but have to trunch up 4 flights of stairs with baggage and 3 young kids was not pleasant. Alsp not very clear signs to follow to access the pool etc. Pool was ok but looked like ot needed a good clean. Our room was not the cleanest. Thankfully there were clean sheets at least. I have stayed at the Solara before and was pleased. It was not the same experience this time around unfortunately.

We have stayed here in the past and loved it, this time we found the suite very worn out. The furniture and carpets were in need of a good shampoo, the fake leather couch was peeling, the chair in the bedroom was completely peeled, bathroom sink was cracked. The throw pillows had stains on them. There was coffee but no filters. Quite disappointing compared to past stays. The rooms are quiet and a wonderful size though.

We really enjoyed the private bathrooms in the rooms as well as the underground parking. The staff was very accommodating and the pool and hot tub was nice a decent size. A warming fireplace instead of background lights would of been nicerfor the cold days. The underground parking to the suite itself can be confusing at first so make sure you sort out which area to park in as there are multiple complexes that are joined in the underground parking.

Fireplace was not working in one of the bedrooms it was cold in the place and could not turn heater up. Place was clean. Asked if we could check out later when we checked in they said the latest was 11. Then the day off they said there was no notes so we had to be out at 10 when it was 9:45 when we found out. Staff should communicate to each other, we rush to be out on time.

The size of the room was nice, however after walking in the room for 10 mins, our socks were filthy. Which shows that the floors were not clean at all. The halls need a huge deep clean as well. Along with proper lighting as it seems very dark both in the hallways and in the room itself. Otherwise it was ok. Nothing remarkable and definitely shouldn't be rated as highly as it was online.
