We enjoyed our stay. The ocean view room was nice. Good beach, although hard to find a chair. Staff is great. The buffet has limited selection and no variety. The specialty restaurants are not great either, the menu is very limited. Drinks are poor quality if you don’t buy a privilege package.

I cant say enough good things about the staff, especially Antonio, Gustavo and Mateo at the pool bar. The pool with the swim up bar, the tiles were coming off the bottom and felt like you were standing on gravel. The areas around the pool where the chairs were, were not washed one time in the week we were there. At night there was very little activities, no place to stay out and drink except the lobby which wasn’t great.

Its the second time we are going there, first time was for christmas 2021 and now christmas 2024... the room are clean, the kid area is great, the little mike coffee shop is awesome, italian a la carte is good but its the last time we are going there. The buffet is really not that good, the service in restaurant are pretty bad(dont ask for a high chair for your kiddo it took forever and it look like its bothering them) they bring your drink and never come back for refill, if it rain everybody going to the lobby but they do not adapt their night then forget their show or whatever its just people in the lobby drinking and if your lucky after couple hour they gonna put some music.. the beach is dirty.. if you are privilege without kids its kinda great but if you are in the regular section with kids its totally different, also you need to go on the app at 8am in the morning to book your restaurant on that day if not they have no place available after that..

The hotel was very run down and old, but the property has a lot of potential. I should have paid attention to the reviews about the AC because its terrible in the rooms, we switched twuce. Rooms are also moldy but pretty if that makes sense. Staff is VERY VERY attentive!!

Property was old and outdated. Food choices were limited and not the greatest. Front desk staff was nice but could not get good housekeeping service. The rooms were old and musty. The showers smelled of mildew and the AC didn’t work. The beach was beautiful to look at but rocky and filled with seaweed. The pools were cold but our kids still enjoyed the mini water playground. Also disappointed in the night time entertainment, or lack there of. Be warned they discriminate against and mark you with different color wristbands if you purchase through Expedia (and it’s highlighted on your name when you check in). It’s more expensive to pay through sites like this and I could see they gave the better room to family that booked through the hotel directly and treated them better.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The resort was very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very polite. The only regret is that several of my group got very sick from what we deduced was undercooked chicken from the hibachi restaurant.

Let me start with the positives about the property. The quality and choices for the food at the buffet are good. Wet bar day staff during 22-26 were very nice. The food at the French, asian and ocean burger restaurants were good. Negatives - access road to the resort is unsafe and full of pot holes. Check in process is ancient and takes a long time. Josue, who checked us in was overwhelmed because he was checking in 3 rooms for us…really that is your entire job description. Most staff is rude, does not care for customers at all, and can’t speak English. They will do things wrong all the time and then will get mad at you for complaining. Restaurant reservations is nightmare. The only reason we got to try the restaurants was because we booked one room under priority. Butlers assigned to priority use up the priority and general quota in advance to book the reservations so when the general quota tries to book the restaurant on the day of (they are not allowed to reserve in advance), most reservations are gone. General Reservation process is a joke. If you do get the reservation, prepare to sit for a two hour meal. Service is painfully slow. Food in Italian restaurant was awful. Ocean burger staff made a sexist comment to my friend. If you ask for towels or anything for your room, be prepared to wait for an hour. For sure not returning or recommending this resort ever!
