The hotel is located right in the middle of all the shopping, but far enough off the streets it was pretty quiet at night. "We would come back to Ischia just to stay here again!!!!! The hotel is wonderful! The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Our room felt like it was tucked away in a garden. Private , huge, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was the largest we had while traveling Italy. Now let’s talk about dining… Oh my gosh! Breakfast is awesome. "Beautiful hotel with very kind staff. The room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful sea view. The location is great with many restaurants and shops around. There is an elevator from the hotel that goes down to the ferry terminal. I just wished the restaurant had more protein options for breakfast instead of pastries. I highly recommend hotel Syrene for your stay in Sorrento. "

"Lovely place to stay on Anacapri! Walkable to restaurants, shopping, and sites. It is much more quiet than Capri. One thing to know about the island in general is that there is open burning, so you can smell that outside often. The hotel itself is very nice, beautiful property and great shower."

"My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 days at Continental Mare. Our room was upgraded (thank you very, very much!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with great gluten-free options. The shuttle to town was very helpful and the short-cut walking path to town gave us a bit of exercise, but was easier than I expected. No negatives at all - our stay was excellent."
