"This unique hotel was an absolute hit with our four year old. The fun theme and history was very cool. The breakfast was great and there were lots of options including vegetarian options. The parking is underground which is convenient but they are very small spaces so if you are renting a car keep that in mind. We had a wonderful time! "

"Wonderful hotel close to Harvard and Somerville. I have stayed at Hotel 1868 a few times and I’ve loved every stay. The staff is helpful and the hotel is in a great location to explore Cambridge and Somerville and right on the red line to get around the city. "

"Great Cambridge hotel. Close to T stop and great location in Harvard Square. Lobby is a great place to read or get some work done. Rooms very comfortable."

"This hotel was in a great location. The T was right behind the hotel for transportation. If you are driving and intend on using valet, make sure you do not have a truck or large SUV, they do not fit in the parking garage. Check in was quick and easy but the receptionist was not as personable as they could have been. Close to many events and things to do. Really enjoyed our stay. "

"I was staying because I had surgery at MGH. After surgery it was so nice to return to an exceptionally clean room. The bartender went out of his way to fix me a grilled cheese sandwich. I had not eaten for 2 days so that was the best grilled cheese I ever ate. Excellent property. Will return but hopefully under better circumstances "
