"We loved being at Knoll House Hotel… it was like stepping back in time … such an interesting history and it was warmly welcoming. We loved the spa and outside pool and being near the sea for swimming . The staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. We had a room right at the back of the property which was very peaceful. I’ve heard that developers are knocking at the door but please don’t change anything about this Hotel. "The hotel is ‘of its day’ in style and furniture but the warm welcome and helpfulness of staff made up for the slightly tired decor. Friendly Resturant staff and excellent tasty breakfast. All in all, with good transport links, near to beach and decent facilities it’s a great place to stay. "

"Hotel is having a refit at the moment, not a big problem . Hotels in need of a general overhaul, bits and pieces need doing in and around the rooms. Breakfast was ok. "
