This was our second visit. Have already booked third visit. Room lovely, staff lovely, hotel, bst and the drift super. They always genuinely make you welcome. Ralph our dog is always given a welcome pack the staff love him. Towels, poo bags and treats for Ralph at the main door. Fabulous location

Just a stop over for the night, very good service and friendly environment. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Ideally situated hotel for peaceful stay and great for New Forest exploring.

Friendly staff. Homely Christmas decorations. Lovely en-suite room. Plumbing was a little strange. Enjoyed a very nice meal and drinks for dinner in The Drift. A most enjoyable overnight stay.

Property was nice and surrounding area. The restaurant was nice inside, but the chef always got the order wrong, even from his own menu! .(leaving things off!)..on one occasion, the pre-starter and starter came out together, then 2 minutes later the mains came out too! Leaving a table full of food at once! The breakfast the next morning, was not good at all , deep fried hash brown! Yuk! ...bacon not seen a grill! Yuk! Tomato straight out the fridge! Other guests had the same problem! One girl with very long dark hair should have had her hair tied back whilst serving food, not good!....unless the chef has changed we will not be returning!

Very nice hotel with nice surrounding area with woods, horses and cows walking free. Hotel is centrally located in new forest, very friendly stuff, good breakfast and lovely gardens around to sit and enjoy drink and relax. Beds were very comfortable, room a bit small, but bathroom was big with bath and good powerful shower. Would be very happy to return.

Exceptional friendly service. My 12year old did not fit on the bunk bed so we know for future bookings to ensure no bunk bed and the mattresses were not great but would return based on location, friendly staff, pool and the property’s overall vibe Lovely body and bath products in the bathroom and tea and coffee in the room (but no hot chocolate) reception are happy to bring you fresh milk too which is a lovely gesture

A quiet county atmosphere with well-appointed facilities. However, we did not receive any room service ie rubbish bens emptied, towels replaced or bad made. Had to book for breakfast even though the room was not crowded. Staff in dining area were polite and efficient.
