The owners were so so nice, greeted us when we arrived late at night and showed us to our room which was clean and very cozy, and breakfast the next morning was tasty as well, a good classic French breakfast spread with yogurt, compote, breads, cheeses, jams, and coffee of course. The bathroom in our room was also very clean and pretty sizeable with a great shower....

"Charming owners and a wonderful breakfast spread was delivered to our apartment door every morning. Take care with power-shower, drainage v poor and had a tendency to flood bathroom and bedroom. The local facilities are limited in the preparation for the festivals so be prepared to travel further away for restaurants etc. "

"The hotel were great at communication until they went home, arriving after reception hours we couldnt get hold of the out of hours caretaker, called hotels.com to help and eventually had to ask the restaurant to help find him. Once we found him he was great and was a big help. Room was spacious and they had made up the sofa bed for us in advance. The aircon was in the living room and not the large bedroom where it was needed. Good size balcony and kitchen had great facilties. TV didnt work much...

"We just needed somewhere for an overnight stop on our journey by train from Spain to the UK (Eurostar via Paris). The 25 minute walk from and to the station was fine. Found a nice restaurant nearby for dinner. Nice location by the river. A bit confusing being called both the Miradour and the Ibis. Not quite sure what's going on there!"

"Absolutely disgraceful!!! No one there after 7pm to check us in. Then they lied to hotels.com saying staff were there until 3am. The hotel opposite said the place is for the poorly and elderly and were not sure why they are on hotels.com !!??"

"If you arrive by car in the dark then its not easy to see the driveway to the Reception nor where you can actually park. You have to go in and ask! Very friendly and informative staff so first class in that respect. Room was fine and good enough but noisy smoking neighbours in next room on the adjoining balcony. Restaurant staff great. Usual disappointing menu but typical french fayre and they still dont know what a well done steak is! "
