"Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway. Quick Get Away

"Quick catch-up with friends. Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. Check-in efficient and provided access to the lovely indoor pool while waiting for room. Small casino but still provides ample slots and table games. Only drawback is the hours for breakfast service, particularly if you have an early AM departure. Also limited availability for "something sweet" during the day."
