He acted as if we were inconveniencing him to be there. Each question was given a vague, unhelpful reply. Perhaps it is time to retire, since he doesn’t appear to be enjoying his job anymore. "We had a four night stay at the Mercury and it was an excellent choice of hotel. The team on Reception were so helpful and friendly - going ‘above and beyond’ to help us. The breakfast was delicious and the team in the restaurant worked hard to ensure the buffet was well stocked with a nice range of breakfast treats.
