Hopkins Bay Belize, a Muy'Ono Resort
5/5 Excellent
"Before I left for Belize, I was in a dark place. I booked this trip as a last-ditch effort to find some peace of mind, and looking back, it was the best decision I could’ve made. I originally planned to stay somewhere else, but when that resort was fully booked, I landed here instead—and I truly believe everything happens for a reason.
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and cared for. I met some incredible people who I can’t even call staff—they felt like friends. Michelle, Wilber, King, Kobe, Tanisha—everyone was so kind, and once they found out I was traveling solo, they always checked on me. Michelle even helped me find someone to do my hair! Their warmth made my stay unforgettable.
About Hopkins Village:
This isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience. Everyone smiles at you, everyone is kind—just make sure you’re kind back. It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special.
A Few Things to Know:
🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you.
🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6.
Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place.
I'd return in a beat."
