Resorts in Belize

"Stayed at The Palms for two days on a recent trip. It's in a safer part of Belize City, and the property is secure, well-kept, and modern. Rooms are spacious and up-to-date, with an attentive and friendly staff. There's a coffee shop around the corner, but you may have to do some walking if you want other food options. I was able to do some urban birding nearby on foot."

"Stayed for a week and had a great time. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the pool area was really nice. We liked that there were restaurants we could walk to and a gym and grocery store on site. It was too windy and rainy during our stay so we didnt get to take the kayaks out like we wanted to, but liked that they offered free kayak usage. They helped us sign up for a snorkel tour where we were picked up right from the hotel which was convenient, but the only downside is you need at least 4 people to confirm a tour and the only option is other people that are staying at the hotel. We ended up booking a second tour through another company and drove into town for it so we could do more than one snorkel tour during our stay. We recommend renting a golf cart at least for a couple days so you can explore secret beach, San Pedro and other great restaurants on the island."

"We had the best experience at Lina Pointe. The staff was amazing! So helpful with key destinations! The golf cart was a must and great for exploring San Pedro town and going to Secret Beach! The water Taxis are a must to Caye Caulker! We will definitely be back! "
