"We loved our stay here. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were upscale and comfortable. It had a very peaceful and relaxing vibe. The service and staff were excellent. This was a great place to unwind, and we loved sitting on our porch, watching the wildlife (lots of agouti!). I would absolutely recommend this hotel!"

"Awesome location on a pretty beach with surreal sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet and restful. Our room was very practical with a small fridge, drinking water, and A/C.The shower was tiny with dismal water pressure. Breakfast was perfect for us. It consisted of some sweet bread, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and coffee with a tropical breeze and a wonderful view. We enjoyed the beach and took advantage of the free use of a kayak. "The staff at this hotel are the real stars, particularly Emelita Teul and Linsburg Chun, who go over and above anything required of them to be as helpful and hospitable as possible. The staff generally are very friendly, kind, considerate, and gentle (like most Belizeans, I might add). The hotel itself has clearly seen its glory days, and is now almost decrepit, I won't list and detail every little thing that did not work, was broken, or absent. It would have been a genuinely uncomfortable stay...
