"My husband and I had a lay over in Chicago. It was simple to get to the hotel. I wished we could get a a hold of someone on the phone for a shuttle but that was too difficult. Luckily the airport workers showed us how to get to the hotel from the airport."

"Old and elegant, you do get old fixtures and such. We never could get the AC/Heat to work right, so most nights, we either shivered or mostly stripped off the bedding and most clothing. The very selective and restricting hours of their restaurants could have been highlighted better. On the other hand, our one meal at the Coq d’Or was among the best in Chicago, despite going to other popular and trendy restaurants. And offering Lavazza coffee in the rooms is a big plus! "

"Our stay was very enjoyable, lots to do and nice facility. Grand son loved the large indoor pool. Room was comfortable and clean. Downside was the shower water pressure and took three calls to finally get our wash clothes. If not for last two things mentioned would have been 5 star rating "
