"Fabulous small and friendly local feel hotel with beautiful tropical flowers and plants all around the grounds. Our 1 bedroom apartment was comfortable, clean and had good kitchen facilities. The pool area is very relaxing with stunning sea views and easy access to the beach. "The melia resort is amazing, but the apartment is privately owned which lived up to this resorts standard. The apartment was spacious and had every amenity that was needed, along with a lovely welcome pack of essentials. It is situated in a great location, with the sun starting early on the left hand side of the balcony moving over to the right hand side, so sun for the full day. Definitely a place i will be coming back too. "

"A bit of a hidden gem. Had a great stay here. Alberto was very welcoming on check in. Had a secluded feel about the place which was exactly what I was looking for. The apartment itself was very spacious and home like. Short walk from the beach where there were a few beach bars/restaurant. Towards the centre you will find a number of different supermarkets and restaurants. Recommended! "

"Very good location, inside a Melia beautiful resort. Possible to use swimming pools and beach. Excellent wi-fi . Kitchen very well equipped. They cleaned the room at half staying. Just portuguise TV . ( For CNN and SKY listening didn' work). I suggest to explain how the safe works ( it's only in portuguise) and that air-conditioning works with a timer next to the front door, not simply with the remote control."

"We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment. Really nice and airy, nicely decorated with good shower and comfortable bed and all the things you need to self cater. Brilliant double glazed window tilted so could be left open all day but when closed blocked out any noise. Right next to beach and with a nice garden with parasol to sit out in. Fruit/veg sellers came to just outside the apartment every morning and there is a brilliant bakery 10 minutes away and a stunning juice/snack...

"Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr geräumig. Die Anlage war gepflegt. An einigen Stelle wurde gebaut, wir waren davon aber nicht betroffen. Die Kommunikation mit den Angestellten war schwierig aber machbar. Zum Essen können wir nichts sagen, wir haben uns selbst verpflegt. Es gab kleine Supermärkte in der Nähe, auch mit ein paar veganen und glutenfreien Produkten. "

"Hard to review stay as I was suffering from after effects (but clear) of recent Novo contracted in UK as lost 8-9 lbs. So did not due what I expected to do & 1/2 way thru stay started to pick up. Room, staff breakfast very good. Had nice trip to Santa Maria they provide for free. Pool fine but used less than expected as not up to it. Snorkelled in small bay up from reception. Good first 2 days last day churned up so visibility issues. Very nice walks N & S of resort on or near beach which I could not exploit as much as wished. Nice meals in afternoon N of reception. Good Super Mercardo on site S of reception"
