"Really wonderful property. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful beach, pool and grounds. Immaculately kept. However it was the worst ‘club’ experience I have had. The regency club was oversubscribed. The staff at points were overwhelmed and service was then poor. I also suspect there were quests who weren’t even meant to be there as you were never asked for a room number. Early evening there were no seats and the dress code wasn’t enforced. No exclusivity at all. Hyatt although a branded hotel still maintains a Thai style and identity. Really handy for Cicada and Tamarind markets. We did have a great stay just disappointed with regency club. "

"The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and do their best to make your holiday memorable. We celebrated an anniversary and the staff gave us cake, rose petals in hearts on the bed and generally created a special event. We stayed in the club rooms (6303) which was huge and we could see the ocean which was lovely. There was no wet smell in the room from air con so that was great. The room had everything we need and a nice outdoor balcony with a day bed. Big screen tv and you can log in to Netflix. Lots of good tv options. Room service is 24 hours too. The club lounge is nice but food wasn’t to my liking however drinks and service were excellent and the lounge offers multiple meals such as breakfast, afternoon tea and evening food. I’d avoid the avocado on toast (a very poor unloved dish) and be careful of how long the food may be left out. But overall a really nice upgrade. The pool area is fantastic and right on the beach but the water was too cold to swim at this time of year unfortunately. Lots of sun beds, swim up pool bar and music. The train provides a fun aspect for kids and the hotel is probably more skewed to adults than kids but still a great place for families. Check in / out was easy and it’s central. You can walk across the road to a shopping centre for food or massages and money exchange. Transport is easy and there’s lots of markets and good restaurants nearby. Overall we had a fantastic 6 days here and I’d recommend the hotel and staff. "

"Nice hotel, garden vibes, beautiful pool and very nice staffs. Breakfast could improve for a better standard as the hotel. Location very good. In general was a lovely stay."
