"7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. "This property has been frailly recently updated and the beds, kitchenette and bathroom in our unit were good. What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. "The property location was great, with the beach right outside and lots of shops, restaurants and things for the kids to do. The hotel/apartment itself was comfortable, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Everyday staff would check in on us and ensure we have everything we need (clean towels, toilet paper washing up liquid, bins changed etc). "A lovely museum house and very welcoming environment. Lily was there waiting for me and did a tour of the house of the late Artist. It was a very unique stay. Kitchen was replenished for guests to use. Thank you for a lovey experience."

"This was a great hotel. Nice clean room that was perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the canal, gondola tours, shopping centre and restaurants. The staff was really helpful. We opted for private parking which was below the nearby mall - the hotel provides a swipe card and directions. A short walk back to the hotel, but felt very safe about leaving the rental car there. "

Beautiful boutique hotel

"An amazing boutique hotel in Aveiro. Very well located near the canals. Our room was quite comfortable. The included buffet breakfast added a nice touch. The two young ladies looking after the hotel were very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Aveiro"

"Upon check-in we were greeted by Christiana-she was exceptional and hopefully a valued employee! Top notch. She reviewed everything and shared a few things going on in the area that might be worth a visit. Upon coming and going at the hotel she asked us how our day was and made sure we were always all set. We had dinner at the restaurant-our waitress was amazing. Friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. We didn’t finish our wine & cheese/olives/bread board so she offered to pack it up so we could take back to our room. Lovely experience and the food was spectacular. My husband got the beef and mushrooms and I got the salmon-both our dishes were wonderful. Lovely little village-worth a stay as it’s a short drive to Porto without all the hustle and bustle of a city. "
