"Staff could have been better about communicating that they were going to take such a large deposit off my card. And they also could have explained the room key thing with the lights in the air conditioning, but otherwise the breakfast was good and the cleaning ladies were great. It was a bummer that the sauna and gym were closed. Over all if we had to stay in Santa Cruz we would stay here though. "

"Great location. The room I had was in the back corner, which was great because it was quiet. The bathroom was really small, but the shower was amazing. For the price, you can't beat it. It was my 2nd time staying and I'll definitely be back again! Nice proximity to the wharf and boardwalk! "

"Close to Santa Cruz and had many food places within walking distance. The rooms were clean and they have a pool and hot tub which my kids loved. Both of the front desk ladies in the morning and the afternoon were friendly and helpful I forgot their names but they were amazing. Big thanks to the housekeeper for how clean the rooms were. I stayed in 305 and 307 and they were perfect the tub faucet was shiny. I felt like I was in a palace. They even put my name of the tv so when I walked it I felt super welcome. I will stay there again in the near future."
