"The Armstrong Hotel is lovely. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is relaxing. I loved the charm of the books, artwork and rooms. It felt like a home away from home. The Speakeasy in the lower level lounge was a delightful suprise."

"It was just a quick trip and a cheap place to stay. It was average. We didn’t have any issues except when it came time to check out. We had to leave a $60 deposit and it had to be in cash. We informed the girl that checked us in that we had a flight to catch so we would be leaving early and she assured us someone would be in the office. That was not true. "I went to see two of my kids for the night, who go to CSU. I was amazed at how close everything was, checking in/checking out was so easy, the room was INCREDIBLE, comfy, and had everything you need. The fridge came in handy also! The communication with the management was top notch, and I hope to stay there every time I come to town! "

"No heat in our room the first night except for the fireplace. Soap and shampoo were too highly scented and caused itchiness. Breakfasts were great - excellent food and service. Nicely decorated in the recent renovation. Convenient to Lincoln Center and Old Town. One window in our room was blocked off, so very little natural light."
