"Great little boutique hotel within a local area in Taichung! Loved all the free snacks. Rooms were clean and the design was great. We only stayed one night and did realize as we got ready in the morning, it smelled like garlic (not sure how close our room was to the restaurant!) but just something to potentially keep in mind. My room faced the street so I was a bit worried that all the street noise would keep me up, but once you closed the bathroom door (the windows were in the bathroom) it was silent! I found it a bit difficult to communicate with reception due to the language barrier but they insisted on trying to help regardless and when the on duty receptionist didn’t understand, she was resourceful in asking her colleague.
