Vail Resorts Ashcroft hotels

"Our room was clean, comfortable and convenient to walk to the slopes. The bar area had a very good deal for pizza and a beer. Our room had a view of the slopes which was nice. I thought it was an excellent value. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of luggage carts at checkout. There are plenty of carts, but I think people take them to their rooms and hoard them until they want to check out. There were 3 rooms sharing one cart for a period of one hour. Not one other cart came down in that period of time. This was not the fault of the hotel, and I am not sure of how to remedy this situation. "

"Basic clean room in perfect location to experience Aspen and surrounding areas. Close to free shuttle bus. Walking distance to main area restaurants. Good selection at free breakfast and glass of wine/popcorn at happy hour was a nice touch. Shared bathroom was very clean and filled with amenities. Towels provided. Very happy with stay."

"I loved the cleanliness of the resort until it was time to check out. There were these fees that were in my opinion ridiculous and I wasn't aware of them until after checking out and receiving my bill. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING!"

"This is your basic ski lodge. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they are clean. The hot water worked, the heater worked I was wondering if I had made a bad choice after seeing some of the reviews. I did not. it’s a short walk to the slope. Free buses are 200 feet away. Restaurants surround this property. I just booked another trip there. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"The hotel conditions are very nice, the ski equipment service is very well organized and very convenient. The transportation help provided by the hotel to nearby places is exceptional. Concierge was not very helpful in 3 occassions we needed some help though and dining service at the lounge of the hotel was not the best either. But overall , the rest of the experience was so good that I'd come back here."
