"People comment on the dated rooms and feel to this hotel, but that's what we liked about it. We legitimately explored the floors, the basement, the weird nooks and crannies. All of it. It felt like we were transported back to the 30s. Sure, there are things about it that are dated and in poor condition, but it honestly just felt very retro and vintage. I don't think I've ever stayed in hotel that felt like it. It worked very well for us and a 6 year old."

"Comfy beds are important and they had them. I have stayed in many places where beds hurt me and I slept miserable. Would stay here on any visit. Building is older.... but things were clean. There was a dispensary in the lot. I didn't know that when I booked room. Maybe the same owners? Wasn't expecting that when we pulled in. It was a no smoking property. We ate breakfast elsewhere. There was packaged breakfast things offered to guests. Quiet. Safe. Easy parking. "

"We needed a place to spend the night for a drive between states. This fit the bill and it was clean and the price was right. We didn't hear the casino downstairs. The dining options are limited in the surrounding neighborhood but the hotel/casino provides a dining option and that's what we went with."
