We enjoyed our stay, but the hotel room was bare-bones. No facial washcloths, no refrigerator, no extra toilet paper, etc. Staff was particularly helpful and polite!

Imagine going into a cute little coffee shop that was open 24 hours but it's also where you check in for the hotel. The coffee and breakfast were also delicious. It has a nice vibe and the choices for interior colors are really lovely. The staff were nice and great baristas. I didn't know this was the sort of hotel I needed. We had the cheapest room -- it was plenty for us since we were only there to sleep and shower. People who like to hang out in their rooms may wish to size up. My only comment to make this better is to have more readable/larger fonts on the labels on the soaps in the dispensers.

Excellent Hotel in Perfect Location
Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was huge with seperate bath and shower, terrace was excellent - nice views and a cool area to chill out. Staff all very nice and helpful. Breakfast had lots og healthy options and clearly produced on site in the main - given that there could have been slight changes each day to keep things interesting. Table tennis table I thought was a bit hipster but ended up just being fun! Only 5 minutes from Vondelpark and not long by tram to the centre.

This hotel is basic, but has a good staff and everything you need for a short stay. It's in a good location, even though it's outside the city. The hotel needs to update the irons & shampoo the rugs for a better experience.

This hotel is pretty basic but if you are just looking for a place to sleep it is clean, quiet, and has good access to the city. Note that although the tram runs right in front of the hotel you have to walk several minutes to get to an actual tram or bus stop.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was great; bed comfortable but could use thicker pillows; breakfast good-lots of choices. The only issue for us were the bike riders. You had to time how you would get into your cab so you wouldn’t get run over! We certainly would stay at Conscious Vondelpark again!!

Overall a solid place to stay for our family. We are American, were traveling with a toddler, and are also (somewhat annoyingly) vegan. So with that in mind, here is my review- Great location within close walking distance to Vondelpark and a ton of dining options, grocery store, playground, etc. We were able to walk to the Rijk museum, to every meal out, etc. Very friendly staff, and our favorite part was that they had a 24-hour cafe right in the lobby. There is another Conscious Hotels location just like 3 doors down, with another 24-hour cafe in the lobby and a great restaurant. Both cafes had great vegan and vegetarian options, I'm talking like, 4 different vegan pastries and every type of plant-based milk you could dream of. The only thing I didn't like, and this could just be a very American thing I think, is that the rooms don't have AC (or at least, not AC that is controllable by the guest), bathroom fans, or mini fridges. I knew this going in due to the property description, but underestimated how annoying it would be. The room got uncomfortably hot a couple days, and humid after we showered due to no fan, and we were just lucky it was cool outside so we could crack the windows for some relief. And the lack of fridge meant no leftovers or grocery/milk storage for our kid, so that was inconvenient, but not the end of the world since we were so close to stores and cafes anyway. Overall, 4/5 experience for us!
