「It’s all about the location at the top of a mountain overlooking a jewel box of a church. This grand hotel was built in the early 1900’s. It has been renovated but is definitely an older property. Room was comfortable and the view was AMAZING. Breakfast was wonderful. 」

「Loved our one night stay here. Wish it had been two. Our suite was absolutely beautiful with one of the most comfortable beds of our month long Portugal travels. We had dinner at the on site restaurant and the food and service were both excellent. Only suggestion is to have salt and pepper shakers rather than the paper packets. Next time I'm any where near this hotel, I will be staying here.」

「Hands down the best hostel stay of my life. Carmo at the Reception desk was so lovely and welcoming and helpful. Her English is perfect as is her positive attitude. The room was top notch: featherbeds and the best shower: very hot water and it was strong enough to massage my Pilgrim (backpacking sore) shoulders.
