Simple, clean and near the beach

It was simple and clean room which represented the description. There was a mishap with the reception, but as soon as I was able to contact them, the issue was resolved.

Basic Room, Clean. Friendly Vibe.

Wanted to visit santa barbra castell, and a few other places, Mushroom street, 5 guys, posteget Beach. Room was on Location, stayed for 4 days, trouble free. Very Well kept place, I was polite and respectful of others, as everyone was to me. Great for solo travelers.

This place was so hard to find, especially by car. Once I decided to walk around and follow clues it was possible, but still confusing. Also, I put my luggage in the elevator (to be clever and not have to carry it up the stairs) and the elevator got stuck closed! HOWEVER, the staff/family running it were the kindest!!! The resolved my elevator problem quickly, and when I asked if there was a fridge to chill my water in, they brought an etire minifridge to my room!

When we arrived at the property the lady was not aware of our arrival & told us she didn’t have our confirmation. We had to show our credit card statement showing money was taken & screenshot of email confirmation. Then the lady started preparing our room. We had to wait for more than an hour while our room was being prepared. Apparently there was no concern shown on this nor was there an apology. The room was ok, toilet was also clean. The owner was kind enough to book us a private transport to the airport for our 3am departure. The best part of the place is the location. It’s very central & if you only need to come at night to sleep then it’s good but don’t expect anything more.

Not the best

Firstly, there was no one in the building to check us in at the check in time. We were led to the wrong door (which was someones room and NOT the reception) We had to call 8 times before someone picked up the phone, who did not even speak English, so we had to struggle with the limited Spanish I know. An hour after the check in time, we finally got our key. The rooms are limited to 1 person only even though there are 2 beds, a double and a twin. The shared bathroom was quaint. The shower did not look very clean so we did not use it as we only stayed overnight anyway. The toilet had no towel to dry your hands and the door handle was broken. The reception is supposedly open from 10:30-10 but there was never anyone readily available to speak to. For a short trip like mine, it was fine and convenient as it’s right next to the main square and beach but I would not recommend staying here for a longer time.

Unpleasant experience

We arrived from airport with 2 kids at 22:45. Check-in time was marked from 15:00 to 23:00. It was the problem to get to the room. First to enter the building - it was locked. Then to find the pension (no good signs). Nobody was expecting us - no person at the reception desk, and we were confused and concerned if we got to correct place. I called twice to the number provided by Hotels.com. No response. Somebody finally woke up but directed us to the place one floor up. It was a different company there - Old Centre. We returned back to the second floor, and the lady nocked at the door to wake up the person responsible for checking us in. Finally! The place is very clean. Very convenient that the grocery shop and Cafe is on the ground floor of the same building. The beach is just across the road. The contingent is strange. One man was inviting to his room offering money. Later the second was coming with compliments . . . So we were terrified and happy that we booked that place just for 1 night.

Das Zimmer war dreckig, der Staub auf der Lampe war eine Katastrope, die Lüftung war voller Dreck, das Bad war nicht im Zimmer, die Türe zur Dusche/Wc war immer einen Spalt offen, man konnte sie nicht ganz schliessen, als wir reklamiert haben kam keine Entschuldigung (unser Zimmer war angeblich defekt) und mit Google Translate haben wir vor Ort eine Teilndes Geldes retour bekommen, aber mir fehlt bis jetzt noch was. Das einzige gute an dem Hotel ist die Lage alles andere kann ich auf gar keine. Fall empfehlen, ja es ist günstig aber eben weil es keine gute Qualität hat, würde von diesem Hotel sehr abraten!!!!!!!!!

Kleine Pension, die sehr zentral liegt. Preis Leistung kann sich sehen lassen. Leider ist es es hellhörig und man kann alles von draussen mitverfolgen. Sehr gute Busanbindung in Richtung Flughafen.

Pésimo , horrible , sin palabras 5 días ahí nunca encendían aire acondicionado , nunca cambiaron toallas ni sábanas y ni hablar de la limpieza de cámara , las puertas de los baños sin nada de privacidad peor de lo peor

Inmejorable localización, habitación aceptable

Las habitaciones son ruidosas, parece que la ventana está abierta de lo alto que se escuchan los ruidos de la calle. No obstante, con tapones eso es subsanable. No es un alojamiento de lujo ni nada que se le parezca, pero para estar todo el día fuera y volver de noche a un alojamiento que está en plena plaza del centro, cerca del eurostars, de otro hotel 5 estrellas, de un carrefour y del ayuntamiento, está genial. Jose Gregorio es el señor que nos atendió en nuestra estancia y fue un encanto. Tras ver las fotos, cumplió con las expectativas que llevamos. Si buscas estar en el centro y pagar poco, este es tu sitio. Otro comentario importante es que el aire acondicionado es centralizado y cada habitación no decide ponerlo ni quitarlo, pero lo ponen a la tarde noche para que al llegar de la calle para dormir esté fresquita. La habitación incluía nevera.

De passage pour une nuit sur Alicante. Pension très bien placée,en plein centre,et juste derrière la plage. Hébergement simple et propre.
