"This place is so good to stay in away from home!"

"It was conveniently located by the fairbanks airport and a free hotel shuttle was available. There was plentifuly parking out front as well. The decor is warm & rustic. The rooms spacious and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. The included breakfast every morning was a wonderful way to get the day started of correctly. The first night we were there, aurora activity was forecasted and the front desk was kind enough to give us a wake up call and we were able to see the aurora just outside the hotel. Given that fairbanks is not that sprawling, driving to the various sightseeing locations from this hotel was easy as well. "

"We stayed here over the new years week. It was cold but the property was convenient and we could walk most places we wanted to go to near the hotel. The hotel was clean and is in the midst of renovation but that had very little impact on us. The new years festival was literally outback, they had food trucks and fireworks. We did rent a car so we could go other places in Anchorage. There were two things that bothered me a little: was our room didn’t get freshened up every day. I had to ask for towels almost every day. But the room was clean and new. The decor was great (aviation, some leather). And the parking situation…. If you have a car you have to park on the street and pay at meters or pay out back and pay $15 per night or park across the street in the parking garage. There’s nothing on their website about parking before we went. There’s also no restaurant right now because of renovations. There was a security guard day and night stationed in the lobby. Our room was in the road side and every night there were drunk people walking by yelling (not the hotels fault) so ask for a room on the parking lot side. The people who worked there were very nice and accommodating. Would stay there again. "
