「This hotel is about 1 km walk from the main roundabout of Aqaba so the traffic density and noise is far reduced. The staff, whilst not being rude at all, seemed to not simply care about providing a great service. It has free parking in the basement but if you have more than a midsize car it will be tight to get in and out. The rooftop pool is small and closed at sunset. 」

「This property was a good value. Clean and had a great breakfast. Good location for walking to nearby restaurants, shops, and the marina. If you are looking for a quiet place, this location is not for you. Our room window faced the street where taxis parked below, honking persisted, and shop owners talked loudly until very late which made sleeping difficult. 」

「It is a nice hotel but very outdated. The room I was in needed a renovation yesterday. The bathroom was clean but again needs a renovation. The beach and pool areas are very nice!! Sand is clean, the pool is large, there is a sitting area as well, where you can enjoy a sunset. I would come back but wish the hotel had some Reno done inside. 」

「I ended up having to extend my stay and chose Oryx. Very high level of service, excellent breakfast, everyone very attentive. Sliding glass door to balcony needed the lock repaired; was fixed in 10 minutes with a call to the front desk. All in all a very good experience there. Would reccomend.」
