"Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

"Arlene took my phone call early in the am and greeted when I arrived making sure I got a safe and clean upper floor room. Housekeeping Olivia mad an extra effort to make sure the room was ready. It was friday na di was tired from traveling all Tuesday. From it's location off of I-80 West this hotel may not look like much situated up on a hill away from traffic but the you get inside it is beautifully designed. I have stayed at several other Holiday Inn Express Hotels probably 10 times in the last 2 years. This location in Dubois PA is the absolute best. 5 Stars!!!"
